D-1 Visa

The D-1 visa allows foreign nationals who are serving aboard a vessel or aircraft, as part of its normal operations, to enter the U.S. during a stop in the U.S. The vessel or aircraft’s home port must be in the U.S. Crewman of these vessels or aircrafts may include pilots, flight attendants, stewards, technicians, musicians, chefs, etc. Fishing activities are not permitted on a D-1 visa.

Each crewman may obtain an individual D-1 visa or be part of a group visa.
